Our next New Moon circle in our In The Flesh series will focus on the connection between our blood and the waters of the Earth.
For a lot of us growing up we were taught by the over culture that our bleed was something to dread. That our blood was gross or something to feel shame for. In this circle, we’ll explore our own stories and ask ourselves these questions: What if our blood is evidence of our most primal magic? What is the connection between my blood and the waters of the Earth?
The motivation for this series this year is to bring women even deeper in their relationship with their own body and the body of the Earth. When we talk about Fire Horse year, there’s a lot of talk about the forward motion, of the action, of the freedom and tenacity and riding towards our wildest dreams. And I think that’s all certainly true. But what about the other part of the medicine of the horse? The horse is a being deeply rooted and in relationship with the Earth. Horse brings us into presence within the body and presence within the heart. A woman embodied, present and rooted to the Earth is a force to be reckoned with.
